Albany’s Belle Fleurs perform at BLOOM!
Sunday 22nd September – Bloom Opening event – Broomehill
Albany Contemporary Dance presents Albany’s Belle Fleurs! Choreographer Sym Parr has created a roving dance performance with two dancers clad in a hand designed and created wildflower inspired costume. They celebrate the indigenous Flora of our amazing regional area by performing here at the opening of the Bloom Festival. The dancers’ costumes encompass aspects of varying wildflowers, creatively mingled to generate a new bloom – a ‘Belle Fleur’ from Albany! Watch the talented dancers perform classical ballet and contemporary dances as they rove around the event!
This project was made possible by the Australian Government Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.
